Family Day in Dallas!

Greg had the day off on Presidents Day so he planned a fun day in Dallas for us!  We ate some great Bar-B-Que at Pecan Lodge then headed over to the World Aquarium then we had ice cream sandwiches for dinner in the park. It was a wonderful day together...I just love spending time with my family:)

WOW!  It was delicious!!

Good times!  It was super busy though so we walked through slowly!

Rodeo Zone

For Christmas Maw Maw and Poppa gave all of us (both of their son's families) a gift of the RODEO!  But not just some boring ole' Rodeo;) but a hands on one called the Rodeo Zone.  They have a mechanical bull,(and a few other silly mechanical animals:) a roping area, horseshoes and an obstacle course..oh and miniature golf...AND PIZZA!  What a hit...so much fun!

Still likes to sit on my lap...

We were eating at the Cheesecake Factory this weekend and Reese and I took this picture.  He still always wants to sit on my lap while we wait for dinner (which sometimes is a sweet thing...sometimes he's a little too big and my legs fall asleep:)  Anyway here is what he said to me right before we took this pic:

Reese:  Can I sit on your lap?
Me: Ok sure...I am kinda cold.
Reese: I'll keep you warm...I like to keep the ladies warm.  

He's so silly but what a gentleman huh?:)

I am taking in all I can get because before I know it he'll be grown...so sad:(

Practice makes Perfect:)

Long time no blog eh?  Shame on me.  I feel like life is flying by and keeping up with the blog is a struggle:/ Boo!  I'll do my best...give me grace please:)

Well I at least wanted to do one blog to tell you about Abby's new adventure.  She and two of her friends are trying out for the school talent show.  Tryouts are not until the end of March but they INSISTED on practicing last weekend.  They are acting out The Crocodile's Toothache by Shel Silversteine.  Abby is the crocodile, Addy is the crazy dentist, and Jordan is the narrator.  They do a really good job and are enjoying it so whether they make it or not it has been a success:)  I'll let you know if they make it at the end of March...hang tight;)
