We Love the Dentist!
Loving his shades!
No cavities!! Yay!
So the kids LOVE the Dentist. One reason is because they normally get an early release from school:) and then they also like wearing the sunglasses...both good reasons right?:) ha!
This time was no exception. They both had a blast and love to get their prizes at the end. Sadly this time Reeser had TWO cavities! Ekkk! He got a good long talking to by the Dentist and was told that he HAD TO FLOSS! Well Reese took it to heart. Today while he was on his field trip he walked up to me after he ate his lunch and handed me some floss from his pocket and says, "Mom, could you please floss me real quick?" I was laughing so hard...he never ceases to make me smile!
So there ya go, I flossed him right there on the playground with all his friends watching! He has no shame huh? Haha!

Old Friends
A few weekends back Greg and I went to a bridal shower for our sweet friend Lisa Brown. She was my roommate in college and also one of Greg's close friends from back in the day:) We hadn't seen her "in person" for 5 years! WOW! It was so great to meet her finance Clint and can't wait for the wedding in OKC on NEW YEARS EVE! How fun is that? Congrats Lisa...it is such a blessing to be able to celebrate with you during this happy HAPPY time! Bring on that wedding:)
It was a "fiesta" themed shower...aren't they cute??
Oh how I have missed her!
The soon to be newly weds and Greg and I--working on 10 years of marriage...WOW!
Crosslink "Tacky" Christmas Party!
Greg and I have been teaching the 20's (singles) at our church for two years now and have really enjoyed building the class and having the opportunity to serve this "non-existent" age group in most churches. We both had been working in the youth department but had a great burden for where these kids would end up one day when they had to take ownership of their own faith...meaning no one would be telling them when and where to go to church. Anyways this class has grown so much and it has been such a blessing to be part of God's work in each of their lives.
Well you can imagine how much this class likes to "hangout":) and man can we throw a mean party with food galore (good food:) really good food! This year for our Christmas party we decided to have a "tacky" Christmas theme. Everyone was welcome to come in the tackiest Christmas outfits they could find. Almost everyone dressed up which was fun and of course there were some who went above and beyond and it was hilarious! We had a $25 gift card to the Cheesecake Factory for the tackiest outfit of the night. Here is the winner:
Josh didn't dress up so he stole Greg's vest..snazzy:)
playing games late (very late:) into the night
2nd play winner...she is standing near a plug because she is wearing Christmas lights--awesome!
Greg and I in our matching turtlenecks....wow we looked HORRIBLE:)
this is Becca and Kelly they both wore outfits that they borrowed from their Mom's...oh so tacky! Look at those pants!! Ha!
me and Charlie...I had already changed--that sweater was SO hot!
Charlie stirring the hot chocolate--goof!
This is Matt...he was mad that he got out in the Mafia. Every year Greg and I give Matt a hard time when we play....I think this will be our new tradition:)

Little and Big Peoples
Will I ever cease to be amazed by Abby's creativity? Probably not.
Everyday she brings home another piece of art work that makes me smile. Here is one that is so creative....I mean who thinks of stuff like this? Abby I guess;)
This page is from a book she wrote called "Made Up Cartoons". This is her cartoon called "Peoples" She wrote:
Little peoples are very small. Big peoples are very big.
~she made the "peoples" out of tiny stick people....so cute/creative!
