Cousins Camp Rocks 2010

All the cousins in their Cousins Camp Rocks T-shirt!
Anglea thought of this brilliant idea and was sweet enough to buy my kids shirts too so they could all match and make their own...thanks Annie!

Meet Rustic Abby...she our adventure bug! She's ready to go in her straw hat and walking stick! When they go to Cousins Camp my kids go all out....they love nature and love how dirty M&P let them get...haha!

Yay!!! They are finally here!!! Let's GO!

Filling their tackle boxes!!

The kids left for Cousins Camp on Wednesday around 1:30-I can't believe it's already that time of year again!
Wow, was it a long day waiting for Maw Maw and Poppa to pick them up....I thought the kids were gonna bust at the seams with excitement!
When 1:30 rolled around Abby and Reese already had their bags and pillows out under our front tree so they would be ready when M&P got there...very sweet!
Since the beginning of Cousins Camp (each kid has been going since they were potty trained:) all the cousins have had a plastic tackle box and Maw Maw brings goodies/activities/toys (things to entertain them in the car) to pack in their boxes. All the kids love this tradition and can't wait to see all the creative ideas Maw Maw comes up with!
After the car was loaded (and I mean LOADED:) and the kids were buckled in they headed out for Glen Rose, TX where they have been going for the past 3 years. They stay at a quaint little farmhouse with tons of animals, tire swings, hiking trails, a river to swim in and the best of all DIRT....it's perfect and all the kids LOVE IT!
This year though there is a little twist to Cousins Camp. We (the parents) get to go down and stay one night with them so we can experience the goodness that is Cousins Camp...should be interesting:) No really we are excited and I am thrilled for the kids to show us around--they are too! Well, check back soon because Debbie will be a quest blogger in the next few days telling us all the great stories and adventures that they had this weekend...it'll be good!
